Hardly the way I expected to feel after my first week back on the program..but I am totally hormonal and had an absolute crap week at work. I hate teaching juniors (but that is another story unrelated to training!)
So I did my weights all well this week. Leg day is amazing, I have never really done plyometric training before and it totally kicked my, well my legs...they were shaking by the end and I really thought that I might throw-up, fabulous feeling that, really means you are doing your work outs well.
Unfortunate thing about my cardio this week is that my bike got stolen, right out of my shed, which you can't see into from the road so someone was actually on our property...scary! Anyways, as a result I had to walk the 5 kms in to work every morning (and then back home at night) which really left me unmotivated to do another 45minutes of cardio...as you can well imagine. However, as a result there was no movement on the scale or in body fat % so this means that for next week I will have no choice but to either
a) run to work or
b) do double cardios (counting my walk in)
as walking alone no longer works to burn fat on my phenomenally honed body...GREAT!!!
So, as a result of not seeing any improvements and being hormonal I over indulged in pizza last night and now sit, as per the title in my puddle of self-misery as punishment for my gluttonous behaviour...I know, I know, today is a new day...and I vow to be "cleanly" fed and exercise well...just after I get back from the spa and a little retail therapy around town, HEY I need new running shoes anyway, I can truly feel the grooves in the sidewalk mine are so worn down!
